Dr Chawla is renowned for her technical skills in ART and her deep academic and practical knowledge on the subject of fertility. She is known for management of patients struggling to build families due to PCOS, endometriosis, premature ovarian insufficiency, recurrent IVF failures, advanced age, male infertility, and selective application of reproductive immunology for a rightly selected subgroup of patients after recurrent miscarriages or repeated failure of IVF cycles.

She is appreciated by her patients for her empathy, as well as her clear and comprehensive explanations of problem areas. Dr Chawla is frequently an invited faculty in various international societies of reproductive medicine, and respected as an active academician. Most recently, she has been awarded Woman Icon of the Year 2022 by the Mumbai News Newspaper on International Women’s Day (8th March 2022), and Young Achiever Award – awarded by the Women’s Forum, Delhi chapter of ISAR in 2019.
